Are you looking to get in shape this year or have better health?
Then you may want to consider what is not so common.
When one thinks about New Year’s resolutions, the things that usually come to mind are to get in shape with work-outs, go on a diet or do more of something. This seems to go right along with the societal norm of go-go-go.
The funny thing is that many times this mentality adds to what is already in excess;
fight or flight (an internal stressor to the body and mind).
Constant fight or flight mode often causes people to burn out, and also causes the body to pump more cortisol, throwing the adrenals and sugar levels out of whack. This is a deterrent from losing weight and creating a healthy inside.
Consider - The Not So Common
Yes, a balanced diet and movement that increases heart rate is vital to good health, but given that the body/mind is not designed to live in constant fight or flight mode, a true health regime should include training to rest and restore.
Starting January 25, 2022,
CoeDynamics is offering an 8 session
in partnership with Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation .
Both the resting of the mind and release of internal fascia are vital to long term health and movement. These 8 sessions will incorporate breath exercises and body rolling methods that can provide instant relief of stress, reduce blood pressure, improve sleep, reduce aches/pain and correct alignment.
Since this course is being offered online, you do not have to live locally to participate.

The mindful movement of Pilates is also complementary to the balance of work and restoration, as the origination of Pilates is based on these key principles:
Breath
Awareness
Concentration
Centering
Control
Precision
Flow
It is the dynamic balance of the body and mind that CoeDynamics Pilates & Functional Health in Redondo Beach has built its foundation upon; to work synergistically, not against each other.
CoeDynamics offers both
Pilates Privates and Pilates Group sessions.
